Lynton Vandersteen
Director of Photography
Lynton Vandersteen has been working as a freelance Director of Photography and Camera operator in the Television and Film business for twenty years. He specializes in single camera remote field productions. He shoots broadcast TV programs (including reality shows), documentaries, special features, short films and commercials. He also specializes in camera crane operation. As a Director of Photography Lynton strives to work closely with the Director and Producers to create the overall look and feel of a project. He prides himself on his ability to blend within any environment and capture compelling footage that clarifies and intensifies the subject. He understands how “the medium is the message” but seeks to have as little impact as possible in documentary/reality situations. Lynton is passionate about being part of diverse creative environments and understands and embraces the collaborative process of filmmaking.
