At Corduroy Media we pursue stories that have the power to up-lift, heal and educate our audience. Whether a feature length project or a ten minute short we attempt to honor our mission of providing media tools to amplify the voices of the unheard by creating films that deal with individuals, communities and issues we believe are not being recognized in mainstream media. We believe in the power of film to educate entire communities and breakdown social and cultural barriers created by misperception of differences. Although we believe that all voices must be heard our projects often times highlight the stories of young people, drawing energy and passion from their insightful and revolutionary ideas.
