Whether
we are brought in to teach a one-session
editing workshop, be a production supervisor on a student film, or
lead an after-school media literacy program we are committed to helping
young people find their voice and express themselves to their community
and beyond. The power of utilizing these media tools unites communities
and helps to eliminate social segregation. From
media literacy to design to digital still and video production it is imperative
that young people learn
about the media messages they are bombarded with everyday and how to construct
their own media messages. This process allows young people to speak a
new language and let their story be heard. |
