Hip
Hop Is...
running time: 10:00 format: Digital Video
Frustrated with the
way that Hip Hop is being portrayed and perceived in mainstream
media Mission High School students wanted to create a film to educate
their community about what Hip Hop means to them. As production
supervisors working in collaboration with Just Think we were able
to guide the students through the filmmaking process. The students
developed the concept, shot the film, edited the content and even
created the soundtrack. |

Adventure
On The Run
running time: 10:00 format: Digital Video
This entertaining short film was shot, directed, edited
and acted by 6th grade students at Visitation Valley Middle School.
Watch as these amazing young people take you on a adventure to escape
the clutches of an evil bully and escape school grounds, all with
the guidance of a wise sage. This project was part of our after-school
media literacy and production series in collaboration with Just
think and the Department of Education. During this year long workshop
students learned how to deconstruct media messages and construct
their own using digital media technology. |
