Video Production San Francisco: Non-Profit

The California Shakespeare Theater needed video production in San Francisco as an opener for their Annual Gala Video and for general marketing use. After finding Corduroy Media, a video production company in San Francisco, Cal Shakes asked us to come in and brainstorm ideas for their video. With limited time, budget, and a closed season, our team decided on creating a documentary short that focused on the influence of Shakespeare. Cal Shakes and Corduroy decided on three characters to tell the story: A working actor, a director, and a teacher. We worked in the story development phase to find uniting themes between these three different subjects and emphasized these connections into a powerful narrative arc. The resulting videos led to a new fundraising record for the gala, and led to a new marketing campaign used by Cal Shakes in the summer of 2014.
