Nutanix Brand Relaunch

From Cloud Complexity to Multicloud Simplicity.

We were recently contacted by one of our long-time clients, Annie Headley, to create a brand launch video for Nutanix, a global leader in cloud software. As VP, Corporate Marketing, she had been deep in the trenches to develop an entirely new look, feel and narrative for Nutanix. The assignment was exciting – create a high impact story with dynamic visuals that introduces the new brand while conveying their new position in the hybrid multicloud space.

The Process of Collaboration

We began the process by collaborating with TMP, the Nutanix brand agency, on the BIG IDEA. TMP had spent the last several months in the trenches with the Nutanix team and knew the brand attributes inside and out. Once we had client buy off on the hi-level concept the Corduroy creative team went to work, collaborating on script, storyboard and overall narrative flow.

From Design to Execution

Designed to be revealed at .NEXT, The Nutanix Annual User Conference, the Corduroy Media production and creative team only had 6 weeks to finalize creative, complete script revisions, scout & secure locations, cast, develop animated looks, execute all production elements, complete all post-production including voice-over, composting, animation, sound design & original music scoring.

The Final Reveal

The shoot took place over the course of 3 days all over the bay and included a practical drone light show to complete the final reveal of The Nutanix X. Our clients were thrilled with the final production and it was exciting to see our work back on the big screen after the pandemic hiatus of in-person events. Here is a clip of the big reveal at .NEXT in Chicago.
